This is available to every believer who asks. All that Jesus did was by the anointing, the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of Him. How will we then do the works that Jesus did? First, of course, we need the infilling of the Holy Spirit. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” In John 14:12 Jesus tells us: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Jesus is teaching us that the same is true today about the Word of God. The Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the waters but wasn’t put into action until the WORD of GOD was SPOKEN! Not until GOD SAID, was anything created! But then Light, Life and all that is, was created through the WORD OF GOD! There in Genesis, we have the Father, the Son (The Word) and the Holy Spirit. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light…” And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And the earth was without form, and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Look at Genesis 1: 1-2 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
He was doing the same thing when He walked the earth that He was doing when He created it. He is the word that created all of creation.

In him was life and the life was the light of men…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father ) full of grace and truth.”ġ John 5:7 says : “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”Īs the scriptures above tell us, Jesus is the word of God. All things were made by him and without him was not any thing made that was made. Notice in the above scripture Jesus calls the very words that he speaks Spirit and Life! In John 1:1-4 &14 the scriptures tell us “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. “It is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
